Celebrity Spotting
Celebrity spotting is one of my favorite pastimes. When I lived in LA, I worked at a record store on Sunset Boulevard where I saw celebrities all the time. I used to hang out with Jason Schwartzman before Phantom Planet shows. (Didn’t know that the star of I Heart Huckabee’s was in a band? You’re not the only one!)
When I lived in DC, I worked as a line-stander in the Russell building and saw all the politicians up close. What I noticed about Republicans is that their make-up looks like it was applied by an undertaker. What I noticed about Democrats is that they’re shorter than I thought they were on TV.
Now I live in Chicago. Here’s where I go to see celebrities:
Fernanda Rocha
This Brazilian beauty, the first lesbian housewife to appear on The Real Housewives of Orange County, is known for her magnificent abs and strenuous workout routines. She was recently the grand marshal at the annual Chicago Pride Parade. “It was so exciting, just being there and being Fernanda,” she gushed in a recent interview. “Any opportunity that I have to go and support [GLBT causes], I’m 100% there.”
Jessica Simpson dating a man who went to Yale???
Okay so really? Is this a joke? Is Chicken of the Sea really Tuna, Jessica Simpson really in a relationship with a man who went to Yale? Jessica SImpson is said to be hot and heavy with former NFL player Eric Johnson, who graduated from Yale? Let’s hope he sees something more than the money from her handbags because let’s be honest… this one just doesn’t make sense. Not only is he still married, his divorce will be finalized in January, but he has no current job. Recent reports claim he even dropped out of his Masters program at Wharton to spend more time frolicking around with Jessica… Could it be that he found a cash cow to start up his new business and doesn’t need grad school anymore? Could it be that he is just in this for the fame? Everyone deserves love and I hope for her sake its real… but lets’ be honest… this one just does not make sense!

A Year For Michael Jackson
As the anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death has come and gone, one has to wonder what if anything has transpired in the life of his children. In this year we have seen turmoil within the Jackson clan from everyone including Joe and Mama Jackson. Does this speak well for the children? Katherine has said they still have no friends, and that daughter Paris has turned her room into a shrine for her late father. Michael always sheltered his children from the media via the famous masks they used to wear, yet we have seen more pics of them this year than in their entire life. Is this the life Michael wanted for his children? Are they happy… while the world remembers the Great MJ this blogger asks.. would he be turning over in his grave?
Michael Jackson’s Death May Lead to Manslaughter Trial for Doctor
Michael Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, has not been officially charged with manslaughter yet but many signs are pointing that way. In addition, there may be a wrongful death civil trial looming in the background.
The media is sure to have a field day with this trial or trials considering the amount of interest surrounding Michael Jackson and the circumstances that led to his passing.
It was heartbreaking watching his kids during the Grammy Awards the other day and I think the District Attorney will be eager to seek justice on their behalf.
Personally I hope whomever is responsible is brought to justice and recommend the Jackson family consult our pal Attorney Larry H. Parker for the wrongful death civil trial. Read more
Britney Spears VS. Australia

Okay wait…who didn’t know that Britney does not sing live during her concerts. Britney puts on a great show and is a GREAT entertainer but if you want someone who sings live, are you serious? I mean really, let’s get serious! I went to Britney’s concert and had a fabulous time because I knew to expect… a great show. Their were dancers flying in the air and Britney herself danced one amazing number after another…at the end of the day Australia is the disappointment for their expectations. Hold your head up high Britney and don’t worry about the critics… you are too great for that! Read more
Chris Brown Upset at Ri Ri’s 20/20 interview
A statement released to MTV says that Chris wishes that Rihanna had kept the details of what happened the night he abused her private. My question is why should she? You publicly took to Larry King, Twitter, and various other sources to talk about how sorry you were, in a futile attempt to save your image, so why shouldn’t America have a chance to know the truth? Rihanna was the VICTIM and has the right to share whatever she wants to. Chris has had more than lack luster ticket sales of his “fan appreciation tour” and maybe with Rihanna’s interview he is finally coming to terms with the fact that his career may be done. Rihanna on the other hand, has a highly anticipated album being released soon, and being truthful can only help her. Abuse is always wrong. Let’s hope for only success and love in Rihanna’s future.

The cover of US Magazine says that Britney and her Manager Jason are madly in love! The magazine also goes on to say that Britney’s parents completely approve. I hope this one is true! This girl deserves some real happiness in her life! Michael Jackson… Unknown children???
Now that the man is dead and gone several supposed children have come forward to reveal that they are Michael Jackson‘s secret children…really? I mean, come on, why wait until he was dead? Even if you are a biological child, do you think you will get a portion of his money? It’s not going to happen. If you were so interested in getting answers, why not question the man…when he was alive? Instead you have chosen now, of all times, to say you want a DNA test? DJ AM Dies….Rest In Peace
Sadly, well known DJ AM, aka Adam Goldstein passed away over the weekend. According to various sources he was found shirtless in his bed, face down, with a crack pipe next to him. AM had long battled and won a severe addiction to drugs as he was sober for 9 years. He even had a show in the works with MTV helping people get a second chance in life. TMZ is reporting that AM, who last year survived a plane crash, had such severe anxiety riding planes, he was prescribed Xanax and other anxiety meds. These meds allegedly led him back down the road of addiction. Celebrities have taken to twitter to express their love and heartbreak over the loss of a friend. Ex girlfriend Mandy Moore also expressed tremendous heartbreak over the loss of a great person. No word has come from Nicole Richie who was engaged to the singer before breaking up and creating a family with new love, rocker Joel Madden. One can only imagine the devastation his family feels. Rest in Peace, and God bless.
